Our hummingbirds arrived for the first time. I looked out early this morning and saw one hovering around my wooden bird spinner that hangs out all year around. Its name is "Elmer" and the first little bird came, went nose to nose with Elmer and left because I didn't have the feeders out yet! I whipped up a batch, hung it out and very soon it returned!
Joy in my world today. Such excitement!

I have one hummer. So far. It IS exciting. Each and every year.
