Paul's Projects

My brother makes the maple syrup each year. Yesterday we drove there, about 30 miles away from our home and couldn’t find him. After taking several pictures of the sap cooking and evaporating in the shed, we started to leave when he came out of one of the buildings and yelled. We were never there previously - we hadn’t explored any of the buildings and had no idea that he was set up to do all kinds of projects in that particular one. That building was once a bakery!

The property where he does the maple syrup and all other stuff is owned by his friend and is 55 acres large with chicken coops, barns, house, workshop, etc. He didn’t know we were there as he was in the middle of the final stages of making and jarring his maple syrup.

Everything in there is “usable.” He sure is “differently organized” and is really good at what he does. Differently organized - meaning he can find what he wants to use in all that mess. He gets into all kinds of projects and is good at what he does!

  1. Well that's certainly quite an operation! I happen to love maple syrup. The other day, well last Sunday it was a beautiful day and I had a hankering for pancakes but there was no syrup. I went out and bought some and was back home by 7:30 a.m. Unfortunately the bag I had the syrup in split and the bottle smashed on the porch in front of my door. It was not fun cleaning it up.
