There are so many wonderful posts on the internet today of the autumn colors. The first are from Steve Goble and then I made a small collage with them. TRUE COLORS!

Not leaves! Not landscape!
I made peanut butter fudge today. Tomorrow I am thinking about making a crustless pumpkin pie. I do have that tiny Honeynut squash to cook for dinner tomorrow as well. It is patiently waiting. Seems a shame to cut it. Gotta get into the mood for the seasons I guess. I cleaned out a closet today. All of my clothes have grown and I have shrunk! Poor James won't be dressed, though. He is full of bee nests and the damage of birds and weather has me thinking about how to handle him as my guardian of the cabin. I'll think of "something." Created in 2010 is a long life for a stump even though he was treated with preservative every year but last.
'Tis the season for Queen Ann's Lace and Goldenrod, Thistles, wild Rose of Sharon and Trumpet Vine. As I cruised around the lake on the bumpy and dusty dirt road, I saw this bird on lookout duty!
Since I've learned how to create backgrounds of my own I no longer need to search for "just the right one" on the internet. I'm a real show off of this accomplishment but it does feed me with pleasure. Here are the ones I've made recently. Oh! The options are overwhelming!
I have finally reached the achievement of creating my own backgrounds with an old application I have —"Art Rage Lite." It really boggles my brain to experiment with creating my own colorful backgrounds and the possibilities are numerous. Here are two that I made this morning and after that are photomanipulations I put together yesterday with the first of my new backgrounds. This is fun for me. No cleanup messes either like I'd have with actual artist supplies!
