Oh yes, we do remember! We were in SC and just coming into the beach house and turned on the TV to see it actually happening! Every year since, the Mister wears his shirt. It is 19 years old. It has been washed 19 times. It's a treasure but what a terrible memory it brings back.
My husband had a financial tv program on, and I was ironing his shirt, for work.
ReplyDeleteOne of our sons called and said, to turn on the tv. We switched channels and witnessed the second plane.... Come around, on the right side of the screen... Show on the left side of the screen.... And hit the Tower.
We remember, what we were doing, at such huge events... Like hearing that JFK had been shot.... And first man in space....
Ahhhh, you have an iMac!!!! Mine is the last "flower," and quite ancient by now. Can't put any new "stuff" on it. Could not do so, for quite a while now. ~smile~
...and yet today, I wonder how it happened to our country.
