Yellow

I rode around for over an hour today, avoiding the nasty potholes that are filled with muddy water from last night's downpours and I didn't see single critter or bird or different variety of flower, wild or cultivated. As I was returning home I remembered to capture a few from the beautiful garden of the yellow Iris that I didn't shoot yesterday because the man of the house was working in his yard. Yellow is a favorite color of mine and one of my best friends loves yellow. I even made a video slide show around 8 years ago all about Yellow, using my photos.  See link below.
This was by their wishing well but I don't know what it is. It looks similar to wild columbine ?????

  3. Hi, J! Been a long time and hardly anyone blogs anymore. SO glad to see you still do! I just read the last few posts you made and was drooling over the photos of all the gorgeous flowers and grinning over that cute Ground Hog, when I saw that you've had the Hummingbirds buzzing around. Here, they always show up in April and stay until the middle of Sept, but this year I haven't seen even one. Breaks my heart. I've put out fresh nectar every 3 days and still nothing. I was worried with the terrible storms this year that they didn't make it and if they lived couldn't get all the way to the east coast. But you have them! All is not lost and I'm so happy :D
I'll be back around...I'm such a slug these days.
    Sending you a hug,
    JennyD

    1. Ps...I had to come back to check out the 'columbine' leaves. None clear enough. And so tall, I would guess pink spanish bluebells
