The air is heavy with dew and the flowerbeds and grass are covered with slugs. It's time for their "treatment." Yuk! Because I'm barefoot almost all of the time, I dread stepping on these. There are also millipedes covering our concrete porch and mushrooms are popping up on the roots of the large trees on the beachfront. Both the dehumidifier and the air conditioner are running to keep the interior of the cabin humidity under control. Hopefully the sun will stay out for a while and dry the area, at least somewhat!
