Forgotten Treasures

Wanna see my 4 leaf clovers? O.K. I just came across them when cleaning out a junk drawer. There are also two 5 leaf clovers and more encased in a resin thingy that I made to hang outdoors. It has gone scruffy now, but you can still see them. 24 fours and 2 fives. That otta be significant in some way, don'tcha think? I used to carry them all in my wallet. The "mountings" are permanent.

  1. i like collecting them, too. a few years ago, our yard had a bumper crop and i picked about 100 4 and 5 leafers, pressed them and sealed them inside shipping tape. i gave away several each time i sent out a drawing giveaway on my blog and i'm running low. we need another bumper crop soon. :)

  2. I think it's great that you've been collecting those. I only have one four leaf clover that my brother-in-law gave me before I married my husband. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it at the time. Was I really going to need it? Did it mean that his brother was going to be a handful? I'm happy to say that last month we celebrated our 6 year anniversary, but the big question is, was it because of that clover? I guess I'll never know... lol.

    Have a great weekend... :)

  3. Never collected clover though I think I remember collecting leafs from different tress and pressing them with an iron between two sheets of wax paper. Either that or I'm just having a flashback. Oh WOW! LOOK AT THE COLORS!
