I would be over there in a heartbeat, if I could, and I would bring the husband, too, because apple pie is his favorite of all desserts. And, of course, the pie is always best made from fresh apples. I have noted here that the leaves you enjoy best are the red ones. I always look for them when we are out and about and think about you.
