§ It all started with this symbol.
Then it went to this and then it went to that and then it went off the chart! I had a great time playing here this morning!

Havin' fun now.... Every year I create a few of these. In the past they were better - more colorful, more intricate, more spooky BUT I still enjoy creating them. These are the last of this year.
Sometimes it just happens. I was sorting again through my flower images and stopped when I got to these. I wanted to try something new and different. Original images first...
I seem to be forever finding new techniques to create and change my flower photos. Experimenting is fun, no matter what the results are. Sometimes I like the finished picture, sometimes they are too much to take in and too colorful, bold and wild. So what? It's just an enjoyable hobby for me.
This dang program will take hours for me to learn all it can do. Today I took the original photo as my study and then proceeded to paint one that might give me decent results. Well, I didn't get the leaves very well, but after doing one, I then completed another. Then I merged them together just for fun!!
Ralph Waldo Emerson
He said, “Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety. Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This new day is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
I would add, wait for it to happen and make the best of it if we can. We don't get to choose how life unfolds.
See opportunity in everything that comes your way.

No matter what comes at you, be ready to roll! My Halloween creations have started.
Snow came here. However the eye candy of it in other places is really great! My Great Nephew in Philadelphia is earning a bit of cash in his neighborhood.
While he is working, his Grandfather is playing. The sun is bright, the wind is whipping and I'm cozy and comfortable. I'm watching the ribbon/stick creation I made last year spin and flutter wildly from the porch beam just outside the dining room window. I see several brave fishermen out on the lake withstanding the cold weather conditions, catching fish from their holes in the ice. To each his or her own is what I say.
