Late yesterday our grandson and his partner and her niece arrived to go fishing on the lake. They use our boat with the electric motor. Our daughter came later but fished from the dam. They were out there from about 5:30pm to 9:00pm and we were wondering when they would arrive back at shore. Well, it seems they were having a blast and hated to have to stop and go home. These fishing folk throw their catches back. Soon our daughter was at the back door telling me to get the camera the "kids" had big bass on the stringer to show me. WOW - did they ever! I managed to get a couple of shots but then later forgot to turn my flash back on and failed to capture the biggest to show it off. We were all in a hurry to return them to the waters.
Now would you believe that they said the three of them in the boat landed over 35 bass? They were so busy they stopped counting at 35. They only kept 8 or 9 to show off the largest before putting them back. What a night it was!
