Restful...

Steady breezes, a few clouds, water like bluish glass with artistic ripples here and there in the swash to keep things from being boring - a dog or two, a couple, and an egret. BEAUTIFUL!

Scary to Me

Primates scare me probably because they are so much like humans. Once, when I was a young teen visiting a zoo, a gorilla went "APE" about me and wanted to get to me and was beating his cage and screaming at me. I have never forgotten to wonder what would have happened if he got out!  Anyway........

This is an oil painting I made soon after my event at the zoo - about 65 years ago! It is supposed to be a scary baboon. I took a picture of it before I gave it away.

Blue Skies and Flying Critters

This Monarch butterfly landed on my hand when I was riding in my golf cart. it seemed too be disoriented but flew way fine after I put it on the ground.

I'll most likely use one of these as a background texture for  new "creation" soon.

 

And then I went back to "bird island."

The Sparkles...

.....on the sea vibrate and dance and are very alive! It is one of the most lovely movements I experience and it gives great peace to my soul, watching the waters under the very blue sky with the breezes freeing my mind.

Back to the "Bird Island"

It was a lazy day over there so I sat and watched the low-key activity. Ho-hummmmmm...

 Blue Egret? This is an untouched photo. I don't know why it is all so blue.
