And then the tree fell.....

We had very strong rain downpours today. No wind, just flooding rain. I was sitting at the dining room table doing paperwork and the loud crash even shook the floor! The old tree is rotten and one half just split and plummeted down.

I searched for bird's nests, but didn't find any. The smell of crushed chives and tansy was permeating the air as I wandered around the branches.  I called a local contractor and he said he can remove it next Tuesday.  The STRANGE thing is that yesterday I fooled around with my painting making photo manipulations with a TREE! SEE? No kidding!
