Hanging Indoors...

Well I’ll bet you wonder what I’ve been doing. I’ll tell you that not much is going on here right now. It is a bit too chilly for long stays outdoors, even though the sun has been shining. I'm waiting for more flowers to bloom and, of course the pollen.

Reading and note-card making today have been my main occupations and now I’m in a creative mood so the note card count will increase. I just started feeling the mood and have all of my supplies ready and waiting. I brought them from home and now realize that my workspace here is uncomfortably limited! And there is the question of meals. Spread it out, start to work, and suddenly it is mealtime! (Not for me, but the Mister insists on eating at regular hours.)

Ok, I'll stop fussing now and maybe I will have created more than the measly six that I made this morning. I do not work on projects after lunch because my creative juices flow only in the morning! Would you believe that? It's true.

They are actually perfectly rectangle-shaped 5 1/4 x 8 inches so can be mailed with only one stamp on the envelope. This photographer had a bit of a time taking their pictures.

Back and Forth

They went to the left - they turned to the right = they turned to the left - they went to the right. Then they crossed the road after finally deciding what they really wanted to do in the first place!

the turtles were hanging out =

the ibis and geese were looking for food = but sadly, the great blue heron flew away from me so now i'M REALLY ON A HUNT!

Out and About

Out and About

It is such a nice sunny day, though a bit of chill persists. I went searching for something unusual to take pictures of, and not finding much went back to turtle island for a peek. Caught some today. They were busy watching the egret.

They soon spotted me except for 3.

The flowers in resident’s pots show only pretty pansies, right now. Many daffodils are in full bloom. I want something different and common, not planted by people. Ahah! Just the thing!

Up the steps to see the ocean, down to the swash to see the inlet at low tide, home for lunch. Day over.

Yep! The ocean is still there.

Up Into the Trees

Before the heavy rainstorm, I took the opportunity to shoot into the skies.  It was difficult to sort out these few from the 60 shots I took. Nature has such beauty.

All are in the color just the way they came from the camera. Now I'm going to experiment with changing them into black and white and see what that effect will do. Did I ever tell you that I love trees?
