Good Fences #3

Last year on April 28, we took a ride to take springtime photos and I found these fences. The stone one is a continuous downhill serpentine, wrapping around the eight trees.

On the way home the daffodil fence line took my eye!

  3. Those daffodils would catch my eye, too! I really love the stone fences - they're so pretty in that pattern. Around here, they're usually a little more rough (rustic)

  14. Ooooo, love it, love it, love it! I'm definitely a stone fence lover so this knocked me out. What a great place to just sit and take all the nature in, don't you think? It would be hard for me to move on for sure.
I went back through the posts I missed this last week, and I have to tell you, other that wanting to reach through this monitor and steal the pie, the flower work you did is fabulous. The original photos are great, but I'm talking about what you did with those photos. I'd blow them up, mat and frame them in an instant. The artwork that it makes is something to look at over an over again. Mesmerizing!
PS/ You were sooooo dear to leave those "thinking about you" messages to me. Really meant an awful lot to me. You are just a sweetheart!

  15. The stone fence is intriguing but the old wood posts are a thing of beauty. Someone planted daffodils there so they saw it too.

  16. I've never seen a serpentine fence! Well, I've seen walls that curve back and forth, designed by Thomas Jefferson, but not like this.
