That looks very familiar after living on The Lake of the Ozarks and having two beavers take down 28 of our trees in the woods. We finally had to call Missouri Conservation and have them come trap them! We use that to keep the pileated woodpeckers from the base of our trees and deer. I am pretty sure that will help! Fingers crossed for you!!!
Wow, they've done some major sharpening/grounding down of their teeth on that tree, haven't they! Uh oh....your house is made of logs, lol. Might want to keep that in mind when you see beaver teeth about 5 ft long heading your way!
i found you - we have this happening to many trees around our neck of the woods. those beavers are so busy. i guess the have plans. maybe a new home or such ... silly guys. have a great weekend. & thank you so much for stopping by my place. ( :
