First you get out your 9" x 12" cake pan and Pam it.
Next you dump one 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple, juice included, into the pan and spread to cover bottom.
Continue by dumping and spreading one 21 oz. can of cherry pie filling on top of the pineapple.
Now you need to sprinkle one box of dry yellow cake mix on fruits to cover.
Final step is to melt one cup of BUTTER and pour over it all.
It will look like the next two images before baking.
You may also now sprinkle nuts if you wish.

Serve a bowlful to share with a dollop of vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
