Way out in the hinterland of the SC campground, within a fenced-in area, lies broken and worn out stuff. I call it the garbage dump and don’t like even knowing it is there. There must be another way now to dispose of broken chairs, bikes, picnic tables. It doesn’t seem to have grown larger for several years. The good thing - many birds and much wildlife flourish in there because they are seldom disturbed.
I took these pictures through a hole in the locked gate.

Looks like there is a lot of useable scrap lumber in there that I hope they don't let go to waste.

i do hate when folks just 'dump' their stuff. we have a back road here that gets a lot of that, too.
ReplyDeleteI don't like seeing that either. And then there is the small litter all over . . . you got me started.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when people dump their garbage on the back roads. Looks like the lumber could be salvaged. Thanks you for sharing and thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame and yet possibly it provides shelter for birds and animals so maybe some good comes out of it.
ReplyDeleteWe see sights like this traveling through the South. I guess it's everywhere in our nation. A fun party though...good photos my friend!
