The power went out sometime early this morning. Thank goodness we have a generator. The exposed pipes in the carport, even though they are covered in heat tape and insulation, would have frozen in no time!
It always is a comfort to know that we are prepared - with gas cans filled and readily available - with generator handy and even the snow blower located in a very convenient spot and ready to roll.
We even enjoyed our morning coffee while waiting comfortably for only two hours to be back in business.
I am glad you were prepared for an emergency. I hate it when the power goes out.
