Time Wasting #2

For some reason I have no inclination to write so I'm just wasting more time experimenting with photos.

This time I used a photo and played almost all day with "Bootz" and the textures and options available on the (free) site for doing this activity.

Now I've discovered that I can overlay textures of my own over one of my photos and so I sit here, trying to improve my skills at "texturing."

I have just put some of them over a flower photo of choice. I have many flower photos and think each one would have different results.

Sometimes they come out OK, sometimes with horrible results, but I keep on and am almost obsessed with trying out different things. I really like only one of these.

Then I used a friend's photos and made MORE!
I didn't use my own textures here.

Time Waster

I'll bet that I'm the biggest time waster you will ever know! BUT I'm contented and well, so don't worry - I'm just being a show off, as usual!

This is how I spent my morning today.

Feeling Creative Today

I have made over 500 photo manipulations on the computer since 2008 when I discovered I could. Now I still make them and I've never had the application called "Photoshop" that so many others use. I found free programs on the internet and I use two that are contained in my computer software. Imaging editing is enjoyable for me to learn and I've explored and experimented with every option I have found.

I use almost all of my own photos, but once in a while, I create with friends' photos. They tell me they don't mind. My friends are very tolerant.

Today I took the digital files of the Sunday Spring Walk and amused myself with them. I have put together a collage that is pleasing to me. My husband says my creations are not very understandable as artwork, but I really don't care because the fun is in the creating.

The resulting collage is this one.
It consists of 11 individual works.

It's my desktop photo today.
